New photo series have been made for the product groups Petunia, Dahlia, Pelargonium (Zonale Grp), Pelargonium (Peltatum Grp), Osteospermum, Calibrachoa, Gazania, Fuchsia, Viola (Cornuta Grp) and Viola (Wittrockiana Grp).

As of December 1, 2021, these new photo series, including the texts below, will be placed on the VBN website.

From January 1, 2021 changes in the product specification of Mandevilla

As of January 1, 2021, the supply specifications of Mandevilla will be adjusted with the aim of providing correct and complete supply information. The following adjustments will be made:

1. Characteristic S05 (maturity stage) is made mandatory.
2. Characteristic S54 (plant form) is made mandatory.
3. One product group for Mandevilla in the garden plants.

Regulatory characteristics Mandevilla as of January 1, 2021:

S01 = Pot size
S02 = Minimum plant height
S03 = Minimum number of cuttings/plants per pot
S05 = Maturity stage
S54 = Plant form

One product group for Mandevilla in the garden plants:

There are 4 products that have both a house and garden plant product code. From 1 January 2021, the house garden product codes will be blocked and product code 9259 will be transferred to the Mandevilla garden plants product group (3 09 182 01).

Grading code S05 (maturity stage) is added to Salix (Deco green) from 1 June 2017

Increasingly often, buyers are finding it important to know the maturity stage of Salix. To fulfil this request, we want to make supplying this information mandatory as an official quality code. This we will do in two steps.

The grading code S05 (maturity stage) is recommended from March 1, 2017 and mandatory from June 1, 2017 at Salix.

The grading codes for Salix (Group 107 013 01) are as follows from 1 June 2017:

Grading code S05 (Maturity stage) mandatory by a number of Perennials from 1 March 2017

Increasingly often, buyers are finding it important to know the maturity stage of perennials. To fulfil this request, we want to make supplying this information mandatory as an official quality code. This proposal has been accepted by the VBN Regulations Steering Group.

For the product groups listed below, the grading code S05 (stage of maturity) becomes mandatory from 1 March 2017 at position 4. Use of this code has been recommended for some time now.
