Solanum wordt Lycianthes vanaf 1 oktober 2017 i.v.m. nieuwe Namenlijst
In 2016 is de nieuwe Namenlijst verschenen. In deze lijst staat de voorkeur naamgeving zoals binnen de EU is afgesproken. Eens per 10 jaar wordt de naamgeving gewijzigd als de taxonomische inzichten in de tussentijd zijn veranderd. Dit raakt o.a. het geslacht Solanum. Voor Solanum rantonnetii en de bijbehorende cultivars is de nieuwe botanische naam Lycianthes rantonnetii. Binnen de tuinplanten is een nieuwe groep aangemaakt. De betreffende cultivars worden per 1 oktober 2017 in deze nieuwe groep geplaatst.
Voor Lycianthes (spreek uit als Li-ki-an-tes) is groep 3 10 035 00 aangemaakt, hier komen onderstaande producten in:
